What is Battle Spirits?

Battle Spirits is a TCG made and distributed by Bandai that has been in production since 2008. Currently available in Japan and East Asia, the game is centered around 6 gem colors, each with their own play style:

Red (Ruby): Aggro and Offense
Green (Emerald): Recovery and Card Draw
Purple (Amethyst): Burn and Field Control
White (Diamond): Defense and Field Control
Blue (Sapphire): Milling and Hand Destruction
Yellow (Topaz): Spells and Effects
