Welcome to my Eurovision page! this is a S E C R E T page on my website, so congrats on finding it. :P

LAST UPDATE: 23 April, 2023

This section isn't gonna be very well organized, tbh. I'm thinking I'll just go from year to year here, with the most recent year first. Will I regret that? Probably. Aaaaaaanyway, let's go!

2023

Here's my ranking for 2023:

37. Croatia

Yeah, this... doesn't do it for me. I feel like I kinda pick on Croatia a lot, but I enjoyed their last 2 entries, so this one kinda feels like a step back. Sorry!

36. Romania

Another country where I liked their last 2 entries - Romania honestly deserves better sometimes. But this is not the vibe. Croatia miiiiight make it to the final, but this? No chance at all.

35. Ireland

One of my favorites from last year, but given their poor performance (because EUROPE AIN'T SHIT), it doesn't surprise me that they went in almost the completely opposite direction. I don't know anyone that thinks this song is even ok. Yikes!

34. San Marino

I think this song is getting a little bit of unnecessary hate, but honestly? It just sorta... exists. It sounds too much like a forgettable album track to rate this any higher.

33. Lithuania

Last year, I started my rank by placing Lithuania at 31st place. By the end of the season? 9th place. The song (and artist!) grew on me hard. But this year? Great artist, but her song just doesn't go anywhere.

32. Latvia

I can see where this is a good song, and well done. But it's just not my type of music. I'm sorry, Latvia.

31. Albania

Sad woman singing sad song... they literally sent this template in 2019, 2020, AND 2021. it didn't work for them any of those times. Why do they think it'll work here? I can't think of a country that needs to break their mold more desperately than Albania.

30. Ukraine

Ukraine has one of the most interesting music scenes in the world - but given the circumstances, I'd understand why some of their higher profile artists aren't willing to take a risk this year. This song is fine. It's fine. I won't skip it on my phone or use it as a pee break during the contest, but it's not for me.

29. Israel

The production on this is good and well-constructed... but her vocals are AWFUL. She has so little range, and none of what she does with it is interesting. The composition is the only saving grace of this song.

28. Poland

Curse this song all you want - but this is the most authentically Polish song ever sent to the contest (until they send disco polo to the contest - HINT HINT). It's a safe song, for better or for worse. And no shade, but the singer? She's giving Great Value Aitana.

27. Malta

I suppose this is Malta's attempt at sending a 'weird' entry. Which is certainly something to give them credit for. It's fine enough and could give a few smiles during the contest, but I don't see it getting very far, to be honest.

26. Azerbaijan

I think Azerbaijan does best when they break the mold, like in 2017 and 2019. But this one might be breaking it a little too much, and especially after their performance last year, I'm surprised they'd send a song like this. It's a good song, but it doesn't fit in at Eurovision at all.

25. Netherlands

This one is gonna be interesting. How will the audience respond to this. I feel like the response from most people is the same: it's a good song, but kinda tepid. It doesn't stand out against some of the heavy hitters of the year.

24. Greece
